Adding an authorized signature to your invoices enhances professionalism and authenticity. Cordlo allows you to set up a global signature that automatically appears on all your financial documents.
1. Navigating to Design Settings
To set up your signature, you must access the document design preferences:

Log in to your Cordlo account.

Select the specific Business you want to manage.

From the sidebar menu, click on Settings.

Navigate to the Design tab.
2. Setting Up Your Signature
Scroll down to the Signature section. Cordlo provides two primary ways to add your signature:
Option A: Drawing a Signature (Digital Pad)
This is ideal if you want to create a signature quickly using your mouse, trackpad, or touch screen.

Select the Draw tab within the signature area.

Use the digital canvas to draw your signature.

If you make a mistake, click the Clear button to start over.

Once satisfied, click Save Signature.
Option B: Uploading a Signature Image
If you already have a scanned copy of your signature or a professional digital signature:

Select the Upload tab.

Click on the upload box or drag and drop your image file (e.g., PNG, JPG, or SVG).

Tip: For the best visual results on your invoices, use an image with a transparent background.

Click Save Signature.
3. Applying the Signature to Invoices
Once saved in your Settings, the signature is automatically linked to your business profile:

Automatic Attachment: Every time you create a new Invoice or Estimate, Cordlo automatically pulls this saved signature and places it in the designated signature area (usually at the bottom of the document).

Design Consistency: The signature will respect the layout of the Template (Classic, Modern, or Minimal) you have selected in the Design tab.
4. Editing or Removing a Signature

To Update: Simply go back to Settings > Design, choose your preferred method (Draw or Upload), and save the new signature. It will replace the old one for all future documents.

To Remove: You can clear the signature canvas or delete the uploaded file in the Settings page and save your changes.
5. Previewing the Signature
Before sending an invoice to a customer, you can verify how the signature looks:

Go to the Invoices page.

Select an invoice to view its details.

Click the Preview or View PDF button.

Scroll to the bottom of the document to see your authorized signature in place.
Troubleshooting

Signature looks blurry: If you uploaded an image, ensure it is high resolution.

Signature not appearing: Ensure you clicked Save Changes at the bottom of the Design settings page after saving the signature itself.
