How to Manage Billing and Subscriptions

Manage your subscription to ensure uninterrupted access to professional invoicing tools. You can upgrade your plan, manage payment methods, and track your billing history directly from your workspace settings.

1. Navigating to Billing

To access your billing information:

  • Log in to your Cordlo account.

  • Select the specific Workspace you wish to manage.

  • Go to the Header at the top of the page.

  • Click the Dropdown Icon next to your user avatar or plan name to view the menu.

  • Select Billing & Subscription from the dropdown list.

2. Managing Your Subscription Plan

From the Billing page, you can see your current status and change your level of service:

  • View Current Plan: Check whether your workspace is on a Free, Starter, or Pro plan and see its current status (e.g., Active).

  • Upgrade or Downgrade: Click the Upgrade or Change Plan button to view available subscription tiers.

  • Billing Cycle: Toggle between Monthly and Yearly billing to see the price differences for each plan.

  • Plan Selection: Click Select Plan on the tier that best fits your business needs.

3. Making Payments

Cordlo supports secure online payments through integrated gateways:

  1. After selecting a plan, you will be prompted to complete the checkout.

  2. Payment Gateways: You can pay for your subscription using Stripe or Paystack, depending on your region and preference.

  3. Follow the secure on-screen prompts from the payment provider to enter your card details and authorize the transaction.

4. Managing Payment Methods

To update how you are billed for future cycles:

  • Locate the Payment Methods section.

  • Add a New Card: Enter new card details to use for automated renewals.

  • Delete a Card: Remove old or expired payment methods from the list.

5. Billing History and Invoices

Keep track of your past payments:

  • Scroll to the Billing History or Invoices table at the bottom of the page.

  • Click the Download icon next to any transaction to save a PDF receipt for your records.

6. How to Cancel a Subscription

If you need to stop your recurring subscription:

  1. On the Billing page, click the Cancel Subscription button.

  2. Review the confirmation dialog which explains how long you will retain access to paid features.

  3. Confirm the cancellation.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Payment Verification: If a payment is stuck, the system may show a “Payment Verification” dialog while it confirms the transaction with Stripe or Paystack.

  • Usage Limits: If you are trying to downgrade, ensure your current workspace usage (like the number of businesses) is within the limits of the lower tier.
