Payment integrations allow your business to collect payments online through global and local gateways like Stripe and Paystack. Setting these up enables automated payment tracking and the use of payment links.
1. Navigating to Integrations
To manage your payment connections:
-
Log in to your Cordlo account.
-
Select the specific Business you want to configure.
-
From the sidebar menu, click on Integrations.
2. Connecting a New Integration
On the Integrations page, you will see a list of available providers:
-
Locate the provider you wish to connect (e.g., Paystack or Stripe).
-
Click the Connect button on the integration card.
-
Follow the provider-specific setup:
-
For Paystack: You will be prompted to provide your Secret Key and Public Key from your Paystack dashboard. You can also select which account type to connect if you have multiple.
-
For Stripe: You will be redirected to the Stripe onboarding flow or prompted to verify your existing Stripe account details.
-
-
Once authorized, the status will change to Connected.
3. Managing Integration Settings
After connecting, you can view the details of an integration:
-
Click the Action button or the integration card to view details.
-
Review the Supported Currencies for that specific gateway.
-
Check the Connection Status to ensure the integration is active and verified.
4. Setting a Default Payment Method
If you have multiple integrations, you can choose which one is preferred for your business:
-
Go to Settings > Payment Settings.
-
Select your primary gateway from the list of connected integrations.
5. Disconnecting or Deleting an Integration
If you no longer wish to use a specific payment provider:
-
Navigate to the Integrations page.
-
Locate the connected provider and click the Action menu.
-
Select Delete or Disconnect.
-
Confirm the action in the delete dialog.
-
Note: Deleting an integration will disable any active Payment Links that rely solely on that gateway.
-
6. Troubleshooting Connections
-
Verification Pending: Some integrations, like Stripe, may require additional business verification before they can be used to process live payments.
-
Invalid Keys: If you receive an error during setup, double-check that you are using the Live Keys (not Test Keys) from your provider’s dashboard.
-
Currency Mismatch: Ensure the currency of your invoice matches one of the supported currencies listed in the integration details.
