Audit Trails provide a transparent record of all activities within your business workspace. This tool allows you to track who did what and when, ensuring security and accountability for every change made to your invoices, customers, and settings.
1. Navigating to Audit Trails
To view the activity history of your business:

Log in to your Cordlo account.

Select the specific Business you want to monitor.

From the sidebar menu, click on Audit Trails.
2. Understanding the Audit Table
The Audit Trails page displays a detailed list of all recorded events. Each entry in the table includes:

Action: The type of activity performed (e.g., Invoice Created, Customer Updated).

User: The person who performed the action. If a system process triggered the event, it will be labeled as Automated.

Description: A text summary providing specific details about the change or activity.

Date: The exact timestamp of the activity, converted to your business’s local timezone.
3. Searching for Specific Activities
If you are looking for a specific event:

Locate the Search Bar at the top of the table.

Type in keywords related to the action, user, or description.
-
The table will update automatically to show matching results.
4. Filtering Audit Results
For more granular tracking, you can use advanced filters to narrow down the log:

Click the Filter icon to open the filtering panel.

Apply one or more of the following criteria:

Purpose: Categorize activities by their general area (e.g., Sales, Expenses).

Action: Select specific types of activity from a predefined list.

User: Filter by a specific team member’s name or email.

Date Range: Select a Start Date and End Date to view activities within a specific timeframe.

Click Apply to refresh the list. To start over, use the Clear Filter option.
5. Refreshing and Pagination

Real-time Updates: Use the Refresh button to pull the latest activities without reloading the entire page.

Browsing History: Audit trails are paginated (limited to 20 entries per page). Use the page numbers at the bottom of the table to look further back into your business history.
6. Security and Compliance

Immutable Logs: Audit trails are system-generated and cannot be edited or deleted by users, providing a reliable “source of truth” for your business operations.

No Audit Trails Available: If you see this message, it means no significant activities have been recorded yet for the selected period or filters.
